As this is 1.0, I guess the whole docs are the release notes :)

But I suppose having at least a list of closed issues/PRs since the last release would be useful. As the rest of the release process is fully automatic, it would be great if this would be too — but I would have to research on how to do that. Or maybe you know a way? :)
